- Prompt Notification and Action: Obtain”Customs Exam Notification” (CBP Form) to confirm the examination type, the reasons and specific requirements.
- Sign a “Customs Power of Attorney” (POA), authorizing our destination port team to submit necessary documentation to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
- Attend physical inspection, and provide explanations regarding the cargo.
- Supply all supplementary documents required by Customs, such as product manuals, customer orders, Certificates of Origin, etc.
- Review “Notice of Detention”and submit all required materials on time to CBP, generally within five business days.
- For urgent situations, such as seasonal goods, we can apply for “Release Under Bond,” allowing the importer to take possession of the goods after a security deposit is paid.
